【02.19-03.08】Announcement Regarding Applications for Subsidies from the NTU Alumni Cultural Foundation for Student Clubs in 113th Academic Year

Student clubs applying for subsidies from the NTU Alumni Cultural Foundation for the 113th academic year must complete the "National Taiwan University Alumni Cultural Foundation Club Subsidy Application Form" and the Student Club Activity Application Form, and attach relevant documents such as the activity proposal (including budget) before the event. Please submit the paper application to the Extracurricular Activities Office by 5:00 PM on March 8th, 113th academic year, and send the electronic file to activity@ntu.edu.tw.

Principles for Processing Subsidies from the NTU Alumni Cultural Foundation for Student Clubs:

  1. The NTU Alumni Cultural Foundation has ceased individual acceptance of club subsidy applications since 103rd academic year. Instead, it now directly allocates funds annually to the Extracurricular Activities Office (hereinafter referred to as "the Office") for unified processing of club activity expense subsidy applications. This principle has been established accordingly.

  2. The scope of club activities eligible for this subsidy includes: (a) Overseas volunteer services. (b) Large-scale off-campus events with over 100 participants.

  3. This subsidy applies to various club activities during the second semester and summer break, excluding those already receiving regular teaching funds from the Office or those with profit-making nature.

  4. Clubs applying for this subsidy must complete the "National Taiwan University Alumni Cultural Foundation Club Subsidy Application Form" and the Student Club Activity Application Form before the event, and submit relevant documents such as the activity proposal (including budget) to the Office within three weeks after the start of the second semester. Send the electronic file to activity@ntu.edu.tw.

  5. The Office will convene a selection meeting to determine the subsidized clubs and amounts, and register the subsidy amounts in the Club Activity Information System.

  6. Activity proposal: Prepared in A4 size, please write according to the following outline: (a) Preface: Including activity goals, concepts, and themes. (b) Proposal content: Including activity items, dates, locations, promotion methods, and funding sources. (c) Number of participants: Including team lists and manpower allocation. (d) Planned schedule of work items. (e) Budget table (prepared according to relevant regulations and actual needs): Items include venue fees, personnel expenses, accommodation expenses, transportation expenses, material costs, operating expenses, insurance fees, and necessary expenses during the execution of the plan. (f) Expected results.

  7. Subsidy amount: Each case is capped at a maximum of NT$30,000, until the subsidy funds are exhausted, with the principle of advance application and post-event verification.

  8. Fund verification: Recipients of subsidies should indicate "NTU Alumni Cultural Foundation" on relevant promotional materials. Within one month after the event ends, submit an activity results report, number of participants, activity photos, and related documents to the Office for fund verification and disbursement. Send the electronic file to activity@ntu.edu.tw. If the actual results of the activity do not meet half of the planned number of participants as stated in the original proposal, the Office may reduce the subsidy amount accordingly. Failure to verify within the deadline is considered an automatic waiver of the subsidy, and the Office may cancel it directly. Subsidized clubs have no objection.

  9. These principles take effect upon approval by the Office's Executive Meeting.
